The latest updates on church life in this season are below for your information.
Rivers Church Services
We are excited to be able to welcome up to 52 people back to the building for the Sunday service from 19 July for a 10am service. Registration is required unless you are on a roster. If you receive our weekly email update, links for registration are provided there. If you are new or don’t receive the weekly email, please email firstname.lastname@example.org to request registration.
Rivers Kids will operate fortnightly starting Sunday 26th July. Head to the Rivers Kids Facebook page or contact Josh Laack for more details.
Pre-service prayer will occur at 9am at the building. If you would like to continue to join this via Zoom, please email email@example.com.
We will be continuing to live stream our service at 10am each Sunday: Rivers YouTube Channel
You can also join our Rivers Church All-in Facebook Group
For the Sunday’s you don’t register to come to the building or if you are still unable to attend gatherings, we encourage you to continue to gather in homes if you are able and watch the live stream. We also encourage connect groups to keep meeting throughout the week. If you are hosting a gathering, consider how much space you have to maintain social distancing and limit the numbers accordingly. Continue to encourage good hygiene and ask people not to gather if unwell.
Prayer and Worship
P&W – Prayer and Worship will continue to live stream on Monday nights at 7pm and Monday-Friday mornings at 6:30am. If you would like to join in prayer and worship at those times head to:
All our regular weekly gatherings such as craft, Playtime, Rivers Youth, Boys and Girls Brigade, God’s Adventurers, Coffee n Chat etc. will recommence meeting in person from Monday 13th July.
Please contact the ministry leader or firstname.lastname@example.org for details.
As we can’t receive cash or EFT offerings in this season, please head to our Giving tab for electronic options.
Support and Connection
If you have any needs (pastoral, prayer, practical, tech support) please reach out to someone you know in the church family, or contact Tim: email@example.com.
If you are unable to come to the building and would like someone to pray with you personally, please email firstname.lastname@example.org and Janelle will be in touch to organise an appropriate time. Prayer sessions will be for 30 minutes.
Thank you for your patience as we continue to navigate the requirements for us to gather safely at the buildings. Things will continue to look different, but we are excited to have more in person worship, fellowship and service opportunities.
